Fashion is: For me, fashion is comfort.

Who chooses your clothes? Myself.

Do you wear accessories? No, I don’t like to wear much of accessories. In a very rare case, I will a wear a hand band or a wrist watch.

Do you follow any brands? It’s not that I wear only branded clothes. For me, looks, colour and fitting of clothes matters. But if I had to choose, then I would go for Zara and Jack & Jones.

Favourite shopping destination: Mumbai. I shop from Palladium Mall and Infinity 2. Delhi also figures in my list and out of India, it has to be Dubai.

Most expensive buy: Although I don’t like to wear watches, but my most expensive buy is my wrist watch that cost me 4 lakhs rupees.

Clothes you are comfortable in: T-shirt, denims and shoes. I have fetish for shoes.

Must-have in your wallet: Photos of my mom and dad, debit and credit cards.

Favourite perfume: Armani, Attitude and One Million.

Colour that fills your wardrobe: I like to play around with lots of colours, but my favourites are blue, yellow and red.

Describe ‘Sale’ in one word: Opportunity.

Currently your wardrobe is overflowing with: T-shirts. I like to wear plain colour T-shirts.

You have hardest time getting dressed for: I always have a question mark on my face and I take a lot of time to dress up. I am very particular about my clothes. I always carry an extra pair of clothes along, so if in case I need it I change in my car.

Any fashion disaster you have come across recently: No, I haven’t come across any till date.

If you had to choose a fashion era, which period will it be? The fashion of the ancient times like that of warriors and kings.

Chhanchhan and Manav will be going for a honey moon to the Gir Forest Area were they met for the first time but there a new entry or as you say a middle woman will enter the show.

Shaleen Bhanot on a Break

Actor Shaleen Bhanot who is blessed with good-looks, successfully garnered a lot of appreciation for his well-known shows on Indian television. He was last seen in Star Plus Popular show Sajda Tere Pyar Mein as Ranveer Chauhan.

Known as an adorable star couple, Shlaeen Bhanot got married to the most beautiful actress Daljeet Bhanot in the year 2009. Their love struck chemistry was also witnessed in Nach Baliye 4, whereby the couple proudly won the series.

In conversation with TellyBuzz, Shaleen shares with us about how he has been spending his time. He says, "Post Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, I'm on a self-imposed break. And here I mean break from both acting as well as my real estate business.  I'm spending this extended time to recreate and rejuvenate myself."

What special is Shaleen doing during this break?

"Well, I'm quite an adventurous person and these days I'm spending my time at the gym. I'm also getting trained in Parkour. You might have seen the stunts in most of the Jackie Chan movies. So basically, parkour is a sport of traversing environmental obstacles by running, climbing or leaping rapidly and efficiently."

Shaleen also shares with us that due to the erratic shoot schedules, the duo couldn't spend much time together. But now, when both Shaleen and Daljeet have taken out time, they are at peace and enjoying being together.  Shaleen says, "Post-marriage, we both were so occupied with our shows that we just had a fast food honeymoon. (Laughs) But thanks to monsoon, we recently went for a Lonavala Trip and had a blissful time with garam chaii and corn pakode."

"The only reason I like monsoon is due to the heavenly cool breeze and the atmosphere it creates. Otherwise, monsoon is annoying with water logs around. That is the precise reason I don't buy any car above 30 lacs since the engines get damaged during rains in Mumbai."

The actor, who is on a break, is chilling at home watching television. He says his favourite TV shows comprises of Two and a half men, Burn Notice and Las Vegas. Amongst the Indian television shows, Shaleen is fond of watching Saraswatichandra and Chhanchhan. Regarding the same, he says, "Gautam Rode is doing really well in Saraswatichandra. And needless to say, Sanaya is amazing as Chhanchhan.

If given an opportunity, which show would you Shaleen want to be a part of?

It's been long that I've danced, so maybe now, I would want to be a part of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. Also, I wouldn't miss a chance to replace Chhanchhan (Sanaya Irani) in Chhanchhan. I'm jealous of Sanaya and her beauty.(Laughs)

Talking about making a come-back, Shaleen chose to remain tight-lipped. He left us with a hint that there is a 'Good News' and he will soon be doing something exciting in regards to acting.  

Manav-Chhanchhan to go away for a honeymoon..?

Sony TV's Chhanchhan just witnessed marriage ceremony of Chhanchhan (Sanaya Irani) and Manav (Anuj Sachdeva). Now its time for them to go for a honeymoon, which will not be an easy task for them.

Our source informs us that, "Manav andChhanchhan are planning to go for a honeymoon but somehow Umaben (Supriya Pathak) has issues with them going out together and she opposes the two but at the end Manav and Chhanchhan decide to go for a honeymoon at the Gir forest area where they first met and fall in love with each other."

"However the twist in the tale will be that, at the forest Manav will meet his college friend and she happens to love Manav seeing Manav married she will feel sad and insecure."

The source went added, "A girl will soon enter into Manav and Chhanchhan's life and create dispute between the two."

The girl who will create dispute is yet to be cast.

When contacted Anuj Sachdeva about the ongoing track, he confirmed saying, "Manav andChhanchhan are heading to forest for honeymoon. It will be nice to see them enjoying together at the place they fought."

Jayasree T gets new show

Jayshree T, who played Naniji to Barun Sobti's character Arnav Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, will be back on TV soon. Sources say she just gave look test for a role in Saurabh Tewari's new show on Life OK, Do Dil... Ek Jaan.

"She might play dadi to the lead protagonist Ayaz Ahmed," the source added. 


When we contacted Jayshree, she said, "Yes, I am playing the hero's dadi. It is a positive character. We tried two-three looks yesterday and the makers will decide on one of the looks soon." 

Jayshree, who has acted in many Bollywood movies, was earlier seen in Dil Se Diya Vachan. She is tipped to start shooting from the end of this week.

One of the most loved and admired shows on Star Plus, “Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna Hai“ produced by Cinevistaas has completed a successful run of 450 episodes Today.     The first episode of the show”Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna Hai” was telecasted on 3 October 2011. Actress Sanaya Irani, who plays the title role in telly show Chhanchhan, is excited about the way its storyline is developing. Chhanchhan is a modern girl who falls in love with — and marries — a guy from a traditional family. The story, a typical clash between tradition and modernity, revolves around how Chhanchhan tackles her extremely conservative and manipulative mother-in-law.

"Just because Chhanchhan is modern, it doesn't mean she has no values. My character is not averse to adjustments, it's just that she wants her in-laws to adjust too. But adjusting becomes difficult when one has to listen to someone who is dictating all the time. Supriyaji ( Supriya Pathak), who plays my mother-in-law, is like a terror," says Sanaya.

For Sanaya's male lead, Anuj Sachdeva, the biggest challenge was to underplay his heavy Punjabi accent and speak like a typical Gujarati boy next door. Anuj, however, perfected the art with a little help from his Gujarati friends and co-stars. "First of all, I had to stop saying 'yun' , that typical Delhi word. I took about a week to change my accent and tone," says Anuj, who replaced Farhan Khan as the male protagonist on the show a few weeks ago. The actor was initially worried whether the audience would accept him as Manav (his character). "But after thefeedback I have got so far, I feel positive," he says.

Season II of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?

TOI has landed up with another piece of exclusive news. 

We have learnt from reliable sources that popular show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is all set to return with its second season soon.

The show which aired on Star Plus will be back on Life OK and in all possibilities with an entire new cast. Chances are remote that Barun Sobti, who became an overnight sensation as Arnav Singh Raizada and Sanaya Irani, who played Khushi, are busy with Bollywood and daily soapChhanchhan respectively, will be a part of season two.

The show was extremely popular and had upset a lot of viewers when it shut down abruptly after Barun quit the show for greener pastures. The channel was flooded with mails and messages to revoke the decision of pulling the plug on it.

Informs a source, "Yes, season two of the show is coming soon on Life OK and this time in a grand way. It's going to be dubbed in English as well for international market. It will be a new storyline and a new production house. The channel wants to cash in on the success of season one of the show."

We contacted producer Rajesh Chaddha to comment on the story and he said, "Not that I know of."

Arshi World brings you some more info on the ongoing buzzing hot Chhanchhan controversy.

Yes, after Farhan Khan aka Manav got replaced in the show, the actor went ahead to accuse costar Sanaya Irani of being responsible for his untimely exit.

In response, Sanaya texted Tellychakkar.com calling Farhan a “liar”.

Now, when probed further, we learnt that since Farhan’s interview got published on our portal, things have really heated up on the sets of this Sony Entertainment Television show.

Said a source: “Camps have formed since the article got published. Some support Farhan and some Sanaya.”

An actor who chose to be anonymous stated that Farhan has done a big mistake by speaking out against Sanaya.

While Charu Asopa, who plays Chhanchhan’s friend Simple in the show added, “Sometimes when Sanaya would try to give some constructive suggestions to Farhan to help, he would feel offended. He would wrongly think that she is trying to dominate him.”

We have also learnt that the production house (Optimystix) is trying to probe into the matter and find out the truth.

We buzzed producer Vipul D Shah to get a response from him but he remained out of reach.

Then a thought crossed our mind. Why not ask Barun Sobti about Sanaya and her attitude as a co star. After all, they emerged as one of the most romantic and famous on screen jodis on Indian television playing Arnav and Khushi in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (Star Plus).

We rang up and asked Barun: What do you have to tell about Farhan accusing Sanaya of not being a supportive and motivating co actor? Said he: “I don’t really know what has really happened. So I would not like to comment.”

Fair enough…but as someone who has shared screen space with Sanaya, did you ever feel that she was being rude, arrogant or non supportive? “No, never. I have never had any issues with Sanaya. She was a lovely co star to work with. Beyond this, I don’t think I have anything else to say.”

RIP Jiah....

Nafisa Khan (20 February 1988 – 3 June 2013), also known as Jiah Khan‏, was a British-Indian actress who appeared in Bollywood movies. She made her debut in 1998 as a child artist in Dil Se.... Years later, She changed her name to Jiah Khan before making her debut in Nishabd in 2007.

On 3 June 2013, she was found dead in her apartment Sagar Sangeet in Juhu, Mumbai after apparently hanging herself

. She was mostly known for her role in the 2008 film Ghajini. She made her third and last film appearance in Housefull in 2010. In 2012, she changed her name back to Nafisa Khan

Farhan Khan dropped out and Anuj Sachdeva taken in as Manav: Chhanchhan

Newsroom had previously informed its readers that Farhan Khan who plays Manav in the show is getting replaced after IPL and worth a wait the production team and Sony have decided to replace Farhan Khan with Anuj Sachdeva.

This change comes in notice due to Farhan’s lack luster performance in the show and viewers don’t see the hot chemistry between Farhan and Sanaya. Although Farhan has the good looks and a body to die for but in acting is where he falls flat.

Anuj Sachdeva starred in many shows but has been away from fiction shows for quite a long time since he can be seen in many commercials like Nivea’s ad with Anushka Sharma and many more.He also debuted in Bollywood.

Optymystix India,the production team of Chhanchhan feels that the show needs a replacement as the show has not been received well through the TRP system.

Anuj Sachdeva to replace Farhan as Manav?

The Indian Televison show 'Chhanchhan' onSony TV which stars the very popularSanaya Irani and debut actor Farhan Khanhas been constantly in the news for its dipping TRPs.

In addition, from quite a while, there has been a buzz in Tellytown about the replacement of the male lead Farhan Khan. And now it seems that the hunt for the replacement has finally boiled down to finalising the very handsome Anuj Sachdeva.

Just few days back, in our previous article, the model-turned actor Farhan Khan clarified about the on-going buzz saying 'Replacement is just a rumour. I'm in a happy space and I'm taking both the criticisms and admiration generously'.

Regarding the same, speculations were rife that big names like Rithvik Dhanjani, Jay Bhanushali and Karan Kundra were approached for Manav's role. But seems like the lady luck is more in favour of Anuj Sachdeva, who is believed to be the latest being approached to become the new Manav.

Anuj Sachdeva is not new to the television industry. He first appeared in MTV's Roadies Season 3 and started his acting career with Sabki Laadli Bebo. The very smashing actor was last seen in Zee TV's popular show Phir Subah Hogi.

We tried calling Farhan Khan but he did not revert to our call or messages.

When asked Anuj Sachdeva about the same, he neither confirmed nor denied the news saying, "Yes, I've heard about it too but right now I'm working on my films. As far as ChhanChhan is concerned, yes, talks are going on. I have a meeting today with the production house and I haven't started shooting as yet. Things are yet to materialise, so this is not the right time to spill out the beans."

Chhanchhan on Sony TV has just witnessed the ring ceremony of Manav (Farhan Khan) and Chanchan (Sanaya Irani). The much in love couple and their families are busy with the wedding preparations, however Umaben is still against the wedding. Thus she is keeping no stone un-turned to call off Manav and Chhanchaan's wedding.

Says our source, "In the coming episodes Umaben (Supriya Pathak)will make sure Manav and Chhanchhan do not marry. To make this plan a success Umaben calls a guy who fakes his and Chhanchhan's relationship which will create chaos in the lives of Manav and Chhanchhan.

Due to this mis-understanding Manav will call off the wedding but he will soon learn that the entire thing was planned by Umaben. After knowing the real story Manav will supportChhanchhan and they will tie the knot."
